The location is good. The toilet wouldn’t flush and the hair dryer sometimes didn’t work. The staff told me the team would fix it, but nobody ever did.

The place is in a great spot and clean. The kitchen and common room (you can have lunch in the courtyard) are well designed, even if small. The insulation is good, so you can use the air‑conditioner sparingly (it works fine). The rooms are very cramped. The “open bathroom” (a small room just for the toilet with the rest of the room in the bedroom) isn’t very practical, and the toilet area is really tight. The only double sheet (folded for the single bed) without a top sheet (which can be handy at the start of summer) isn’t ideal.

The location and the apartment with its terrace. Nothing in particular.

It was cozy and nice. People were always there if you needed them and did their best to satisfy you. The place is right next to one of Valetta’s most famous streets, and the room is serviced daily with clean towels and a well made bed. Rooms 7 and 8 (I was in 8) had a pump constantly running next to the rooms; it was very noisy and hard to sleep without earplugs. The room had some mold under the TV and overall wasn’t very clean. Dust accumulated on top of the chandelier. Cleaning could definitely improve. The biggest issue was the AC – every night it malfunctioned and only worked in FAN or HEAT mode. That was unfortunate because the reception is open until 10 pm, meaning you’re without AC all night in a hot country. I had to contact reception each morning to fix it, but they let me stay two more hours in the room before checking out.
