Breakfast is excellent, and the location is also very good. The adjacent restaurant is fantastic (where breakfast is served), and they offer lunch and dinner at a great price; the food is delicious. The staff at the pousada are very welcoming, waiting for us even though we arrived outside their normal hours. The double bed’s mattress was a bit uncomfortable.

The location is fine. The room and bathroom are the right size. There is no reception; you have to go to the neighboring restaurant to be attended, and even after requesting help you have to wait a considerable time to settle in. There were no towels in the room, the shower curtain was warm, and the minibar was giving a shock when turned on.

The staff were helpful. Terrible. I do not recommend it. Our experience was extremely unpleasant and, unfortunately, far below what we expected. We arrived after a more than 16‑hour trip, accompanied by an elderly woman and a child. At check‑in, we were greeted by an employee who had no ID and was wearing extremely dirty clothes, which initially gave us a terrible impression and no sense of security to pay him directly. Later we discovered he was helping with the lodge’s renovation and we realized he was a good person, just trying to help. The problem, in this case, was the lack of organization and presentation of the lodge. When we arrived at the room, we turned on the shower and there was no water. We left the key with a lodge employee to have the issue resolved. When we returned, due to a lack of communication among staff, they simply couldn’t find our key. We waited more than 40 minutes until they located it. To make matters worse, when they returned the key, the owner’s wife was extremely arrogant and rude, treating the situation as if the lodge’s own communication and organizational failure was our fault. The accommodation also fell far short. The pillows were stale and smelled bad. My mother‑in‑law’s blankets were in even worse condition, with a strong mold smell. Some windows had no curtains, and one faced directly onto the street, completely compromising privacy. The air‑conditioner made a very loud noise while running. Basic bathroom items were missing: there was no support or shelf to hold shampoo and soap inside the shower, nor a proper soap holder on the sink or in the bathroom, and the toilet lid was broken. The mini‑fridge was all rusted, giving a terrible impression of lack of maintenance and hygiene.

The staff were very friendly, but there was a gas smell and the room TV had no antenna.
