“Trés moyen !!!!!”
I was disappointed because we thought we were going to a small, middle‑aged village; this hotel had the same name as the one that had been recommended to us.

Dinner was great.

The inn feels genuinely old‑world, the rooms were comfy and the bar has that retro vibe that brought back a few memories for us older folks. Staff took great care of us, and the food—especially the fried carp—was top‑notch local fare.

Service was friendly and attentive; every little request was met, which was more than enough for our brief stay of just a shower, a night’s sleep and breakfast. The only real hitch was the language barrier—staff only spoke French while we only knew German and English, making communication a bit tricky without a translator.

We were greeted with a warm, friendly welcome that set a pleasant tone for the visit; nothing else really stood out, but the hospitality was solid.
