The spot is great, but the shower left something to be desired.

The villa is lovely and very secure in Nairobi, right where all the embassies are. Uber rides are quick and cheap. It’s very close to Beit Habad, just a 10‑15 minute walk. However, they charged my credit card before the free cancellation deadline, even though it was written that payment would be made on site! The phones aren’t great.

The staff here are fantastic, always smiling and ready to help. I was lucky to have my luggage stored for a day and they offered a room to shower before my trip. Breakfast is very complete—fruit variety, eggs cooked to order, vegetables, bread, cereals, juices, and coffee—prepared in a home‑style way. The location is convenient for UN meetings and close to local shops and markets. When I arrived, I asked about “James the Great” and he’ll take us safely and reliably to all sites and attractions, living up to his nickname.

I really like this hotel; it’s comfortable, reasonably priced, has a good breakfast, and the staff are very friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist.
