The wonderful Casa by Matteo and Angela impressed us from start to finish, but what struck us even more was the warmth of the hosts. Unfortunately our Italian was very limited, so we mostly spoke in English and the conversation stayed brief. We visit Italy at least twice a year, yet we’ve never stayed in a place as clean and beautiful as this. Every morning we were treated to fresh, hot brioche and traditional pasticciotti. The hosts seemed to read our minds, offering exactly what we wanted. Sitting by the pool, playing cards, and sipping wine from a cup was possible until Matteo noticed, at which point he promptly supplied glasses. The location felt tailor‑made for us—quiet enough to avoid city bustle or a crowded seaside town, yet close to local sights and beaches. In short, it’s a shame the rating stops at 10 points; we’ll definitely come back. Dear Matteo and Angela, thank you for everything, for the wonderful time and your hospitality. Until next time. The only downside was that our stay lasted just one week.
