Remote spot, nothing around, but only a 6‑minute walk to the Ötscher ski station. Motorcyclists make it noisy, so it’s not quiet. The owner arrives exactly at 2 p.m., no earlier. Breakfast was a letdown: only two rolls per person, awful coffee, no milk or gluten‑free options. The single room mattress was sagging, the window couldn’t tilt, and the room looked like the 1960s with plastic chairs on the balcony.

The location is lovely and the host is friendly. I did miss a fridge in my room, but the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The mattress felt soft to me, which is a matter of taste. Overall, we were happy.
