The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the boat was absolutely lovely, cosy, and fully supplied; the location was very quiet but only a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants. It was a little confusing to find because the sat nav directed us to a row of houses, but a quick call to the owner had him with us in 3 minutes to show the way.

Alex was excellent, met us on arrival and it was nothing too much trouble; it was a nice experience and we have not stayed on a canal boat before.

The boat was a delightful little vessel, providing a peaceful and private alternative to a hotel; there was nothing to dislike.

They worked hard to make this boat as comfortable and welcoming as possible—the mattresses are excellent—and it is ideally situated for the Bletchley Park museum, which is also excellent; the canal is a lovely location for a stay, with the bonus of a large family of swans nearby. The owner was very good at explaining things but it is a lot of info to take on board; maybe a crib sheet for various switches/item location would be useful.
