The staff seemed eager to help but could use more training for non‑Kenyans; the African‑style room was loved, very tranquil and quiet, with generous meal portions and a good breakfast. The bar fridge was off when we arrived, so the first few beers weren’t cold. The road from the highway is terrible and not suitable for a family car, but the hotel itself is powerless here.

The room was equipped with a large double bed and mosquito net, very comfortable and safe sleeping possible. The bathroom was of high quality with a head shower (water temperature independently adjustable) and hand shower. Overall very high feel-good atmosphere. ( Very cuddly bathrobes). Breakfast in the main dining room was probably served in 3 courses due to the occupancy. All freshly prepared and very digestable. The wifi network could only be used after several requests in the evening hours

We absolutely adored this hotel—it’s well built, clean, and peaceful, with staff who were super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, and the gardens and grounds were well tended. On the flip side, the road to the place is quite rough, and the map and contact info on Bookings Ltd were incorrect, causing us to get lost; the mattress was also very hard, but we were able to let the Director know and he was available and extremely pleasant.

The pool was beautiful, the staff were super friendly and attentive, and the rooms were comfortable with good bedding. We just weren’t fans of the food, but that’s a matter of taste.

The bed was very comfortable and the room itself was clean; breakfast was great, and the dining area was tidy and well organized. However, the drainage in the shower was poor because it seemed poorly angled—the flat floor required us to push water to get it to drain, which was in the cottage I slept in. The power outlets didn’t work, so I couldn’t use the kettle for tea, there was no room service, and the dining area was far too far from the rooms.
