The staff’s clean and courteous attitude was a highlight, the view from the room was excellent, and the room itself was fairly large. The washbasin felt a bit dated, and the location was somewhat inconvenient.

The staff were friendly, the rooms were nice, and the space felt old‑fashioned and luxurious. The fridge, however, made a lot of noise and the pillows were just average.

The hotel sits just 5 minutes from the port and the restaurant street, and about 10 minutes from the station. Built in the 1980s, it offers very generous spaces, including large rooms with an onsen‑style bath and the classic amenities typical of Japanese hotels from that era. Inside, there is an on‑site FamilyMart, several restaurants, and underground parking. We enjoyed our two‑night stay. Although the property shows some signs of age, it provided everything we could possibly need, offering a level of spaciousness that modern hotels rarely match.

The buffet breakfast was amazing, with many options, and the building itself is really nice and spacious. The staff were friendly and attentive. The bathroom was comfy, the service great, the beds comfortable, and the yukatas were nice. Our “mountain view” room didn’t have a great view; we were in front of another piece of the building, so you could see the mountains only from a distance and only if standing up. Most of the view was just a piece of the building. I didn’t ask to change rooms, couldn’t be bothered, but maybe they would have changed it.
