We liked it because we were out of the city but only a short walk and a ferry to Circular Quay. It was quiet and comfortable, and street parking was easy over the weekend.

The bedroom and bathroom were well presented and clean. The location is very close to Kirribilli/Milson’s Point shops, and the online staff were helpful with directions and information. Using a code system to access the room felt secure. It would be useful to have cutlery and crockery (glass and bowl) in the room for a self‑service breakfast, and the front door of the building is always unlocked while property monitoring is done via CCTV.

The staff were delightful, very helpful and professional. The room was small but had everything you’d need. We were attending a wedding at the Royal Kirribilli Yacht Squadron, which is a short walk away (down a steep hill). The street was quiet and residential. The only issue was parking—there’s just one space for the lodge, which you pay extra for, and street parking is tricky. Most guests seem to be young and staying longer, but our one‑night stay was fine. I’d definitely stay again.
