Mr. Carl at the front desk was very nice, yet when I first walked in I couldn't get a room; they told me to call after 6 pm and check, so I went to my car, booked online, and paid more. The towels were small.

I want a refund on my credit card because the website claimed pets were accepted, but they wouldn't allow them when I arrived. I then drove 30 miles to Brownwood for lodging, and the staff was very rude.

The room was clean and reasonable, nothing fancy, but there was a sticky substance in the carpet tiles next to the bed; I covered it with a towel and the housekeepers never checked it during the four days. I told the front desk when we left. Room 111 is advertised as a handicap room but a wheelchair cannot fit in the bathroom, so it does not meet ADA requirements.
