Everything was perfect; this is an amazing place to stay in Washington DC—no complaints at all!

The location is quiet and easy to walk or take the bus from, but the ventilation system is loud. Breakfast is freshly made yet not very varied. Plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. For the coffee you make yourself in the room you have to pay $5. I'd rather walk 200 m to Tatty and get a proper coffee at the same price.

The beds were comfy, the spot was okay, and most staff were friendly. The breakfast, though praised in reviews, was only average; I’d have liked it as an option. Soundproofing was awful—someone upstairs paced for hours on creaky floors at night. Furniture and bathrooms looked patched and workmanlike. It could pass as budget lodging, but we paid an amount comparable to nicer hotels we've stayed at before.
