The Brownswood

We really enjoyed staying at The Brownswood. The whole place feels welcoming and relaxed, and we were comfortable from the moment we arrived. Ela was especially wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, making our stay feel personal. The room was clean and comfortable. Even though the hotel sits above a pub with a beer garden, it was fine; you can hear some evening buzz, but it never disturbed us, and after about 11 p.m. it was completely quiet. We had a great stay and would definitely choose The Brownswood again when visiting London.

I chose the Brownswood Hotel because it was perfect for a concert at Finsbury Park, and it proved to be a brilliant choice. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the park, making the whole trip stress‑free. The staff were fantastic—friendly and very welcoming. The room was cosy, breakfast was tasty, and overall I couldn’t fault the stay. I’d happily return.

“Fabulous Staff, beautiful room lovely breakfast the room was spotless spacious, Asha amazing.”

Excellent from the moment we walked in. Sonia greeted us with a big small showed us around explain everything we needed to know. Brought us up some iced water due to the heat 5* customer service absolutely enjoyed are Monday to Friday visit. Nothing everything was just amazing. Nice and quiet only 6 rooms . Breakfast excellent All staff were amazing Sonia, Asha, the 1 lovely bar tender (ladies) we spent our last day sightseeing. Sonia kept are luggage so we didn’t have to drag it around with us. When we arrived to pick up our luggage the ladies behind the bar supplied us with ice water and collected are luggage for us. Amazing
