Everything was great, the host Kevin impressed us with his handbags—showing them off—, the breakfast was made with love and effort, but there was no kitchen—so when it was evening, *no food served*, the pub was great with flair. We were late, but a few muffins were still served—thanks. It was quiet, even in the mornings, dogs were very welcome, and there was a really good walk‑your‑dog zone. Had we known there was nothing to eat there, we would have headed to a fast‑food place instead. #tip
“Fabulous time at The Swan Inn”
We stayed two nights and it was fantastic. Kevin and Linda, who run the pub, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The place was spotless. The continental breakfast offered a wide variety of good options. Located in a small village, the pub sits in the center with the friendliest locals around. We loved our time at The Swan Inn.

Stunning, traditional pub. The room was super comfortable, beautifully clean, and had everything you could possibly need.

What an excellent find, a lovely quiet country pub. The continental selection was good. The hosts were welcoming and the pub’s atmosphere was great thanks to the locals. Highly recommend for a quiet village stay, but note that food isn’t served here—there are plenty of options a few minutes’ drive away in neighboring villages or in the nearest town, Woodbridge, which is 15/20 minutes away.
