The place is in a lovely spot, the check‑in was hassle‑free, the rooms were very clean with good beds, there’s a parking lot in front of the building, and a fridge at the entrance lets you keep your own drinks cold. I can’t really judge the staff, but I had a friendly phone conversation with them. The only downside is that there’s a construction site right next to us, but it didn’t bother us on Saturday evening. When the outside temperature was high, the building heated up a lot and since no staff were around, there was no ventilation later in the evening. The room was in direct sunlight, and although there were blackout curtains, the heat still trapped in. There were no fly screens and there was a massive ant infestation on the windows, so we found it hard to ventilate ourselves. I read that this is a “boarding house”, but in this case the price‑to‑service ratio definitely needs reconsideration. For us it was fine for one night, but there’s a lot of room for improvement.
