The location was excellent, the hotel was very clean, and the staff was of high quality, which satisfied us a lot; I can only recommend it. Everything was super.

“Disappointing, amateurish, dirty”

1. The hotel lied about its descriptions. On booking, it is indicated 4* while on site it is a 3* and in reality, not even a 2*. Since the stars meet very specific criteria and levels of service that the customer is entitled to expect. 2. The service is really poor. I had to go down every evening when I returned to my room to ask for someone to come and make my internet connection work. The toilets are broken and the cleaning is not done well. You can still see the traces of products on the taps. 3. Bad lighting and the smell of cigarettes that still linger even when the rooms are cleaned. I had to air my room at a late hour. 4. The insulation is really not very efficient. You can hear everything that is said or done in the neighboring room. 5. The breakfast is poor and not available in quantity. I went up to have breakfast at 08.45 and the scrambled eggs were already finished. I asked for some to be told that it was finished and some time later, customers arrived after me and had scrambled eggs. This attitude in particular is unworthy of a hotel establishment. Serving customers based on their origins or skin color is simply incredible and insane. I will not recommend this hotel under any circumstances and find that is also responsible because I have been using B.com without hesitation for over 20 years and this is my worst experience with B.com. The staff was amazing—very kind, always helpful, and polite, which left me thrilled. Smoking was allowed throughout the hotel, so the entire place was smoggy; the corridor smelled terrible, and the cigarette odor seeped into the rooms, making it impossible to sleep. My clothes and I left all smelling of smoke. The cleanliness was also poor: the curtains were black, either because they were that color or they had never been washed.

The cigarette smell permeated everywhere, even inside the rooms. The breakfast was awful, as advertised on the site: no normal coffee, only instant which was bad; my son wanted cereal with milk but only powder was available. At 8:45 there was no Turkish bread left, but the staff was friendly and fetched some from nearby.

The location was good for the castle, bazaar, and the tram stop opposite. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of breakfast options. Nothing else.
