Authentic experience with a very hospitable and helpful host

I was blown away by this authentic Bedouin camp that's free from pretentiousness, unlike many other camps that try to rip you off. The location is perfect - it's secluded, quiet, and peaceful, with delicious meals prepared using traditional recipes. The staff speaks English, Arabic, and Russian, which was a huge plus for me, and they even took me on a tour of the surrounding area, sharing stories about life in Jordan and the Bedouin culture.

Staying at MalakoRum was like visiting friends who've made the desert their home. The comfortable rooms and hot showers were a welcome surprise, and the delicious dinner cooked by Jo and Jafar was a highlight of our trip. We loved the authentic desert experience, complete with animals roaming around the property. Jo's knowledge of the desert, geology, and history was impressive, and she took us on a fantastic hiking tour to a nearby hilltop with breathtaking views.

Avoid MalakoRum at all costs - it's a complete disaster. The rooms are tiny and uncomfortable, and the whole experience is just a mess. The hosts are unfriendly and unhelpful, and the food is terrible. We were really disappointed with our stay here.
