“Good value for money, if coming to stay near Tebrau City or at short driving distance to Austin area”

We were right next to Aeon Tebrau City, which we had planned to visit, and we could walk or drive there with ease. The Mount Austin area was also less than a 10‑minute drive away, where we stopped for breakfast at The Toast. The price was good for the value: one double bed and one single bed for the three of us, a clean bathroom with a shower head. The air conditioning didn’t cool the room well, and the fan speed couldn’t be increased, so it stayed a bit warm and took a while to cool down. Not having a small fridge in the room also limited how much food we could keep chilled.

The only thing that stood out was the spacious room, but everything else left me unimpressed; there were no Chinese cafés nearby, just a lot of foreign workers, and the nearest AEON was a 15‑minute walk away. The place smelled damp enough to make my throat feel raw, the fridge held wine that must have been there forever and tasted odd despite its high price, the air‑conditioning wasn’t very cold, and overall it felt average and not worth the price—70‑80 a day would have been plenty.

“Decent”

The location is good, but the place is super loud: a BANG sound is heard during the early hours 0500hr‑0700hr in the morning! It sounded like someone opening a heavy door and slamming it shut or dropping a very heavy object on the ground. I would think twice before booking next time.
