The front desk staff were friendly, but the breakfast staff were rude; from 8 to 9 there was no hot breakfast, nobody checked on it, and the woman was smoking outside; when we mentioned the shortage she snapped, “I’m getting it,” even though breakfast was scheduled from 6 to 9.

The location and rewards program were nice, but the hot tub was broken, the pool area was dark, towels were missing which made the floor extra wet and slippery on exit, and there was leftover garbage on the end table from the previous guest.

The location suited my needs, but the place absolutely needs cleaning and an upgrade. The hallway and staircase carpeting is old and always dirty. In room 220 I found a toilet plunger in the bathroom, which I only realized was necessary after I used it. I also saw a plunger with a bag around it outside a room below us. I have no plans to return; pay more and stay at the Heartland Inn first.

The staff were wonderful and very helpful, and the breakfast items were good. The bathroom in our room was small. Inside the hotel was clean, but outside it was poor: the trash can was overflowing, trash littered the parking lot, and there were potholes that could use some care.
