The bed was comfy and the room stayed spotless, but the building feels like an old alleyway hotel; the stairs are narrow and the bedroom and bathroom are tiny, so it works better for backpackers.

It’s close to Ximending and the owner’s wife is very welcoming, yet every guest’s shoes are stored under the stairs, so the scent of shoes hits you directly without a shoe cabinet to soften it.
