Oslob Seafari Resort

The location is spectacular, right in front of the sea, and the rooms offer very pleasant views. The pools are clean and let you enjoy the scenery. The service was very friendly; they helped us organize a whale‑watching tour in Oslob and offered transport there. Finally, the breakfast was spectacular, and given its price, it’s definitely worth it. The worst part is the stairs you have to climb up and down to get to the hotel – probably around 250 in total – so if you’re not in good shape it can be exhausting.

The hotel sits at the foot of a cliff with over 250 steps—impossible for older people like us! We had to go elsewhere. I don’t remember seeing this detail when booking.

Lovely staff. Good for a short stay, but the sheer number of stairs makes it hard to stay more than a day, to be honest. You literally have to climb a cliff to leave the property.

The view from the window is nice, the walk to the aquarium is convenient, and there’s a fantastic bakery 50 m away. However, there’s no hot water, no blanket in the hotel, and the rooms are about 30 m² instead of the advertised 50 m². The description didn’t mention the stairs; we learned about them from comments.
