The décor was top‑quality, well equipped, and crafted with exceptional attention to detail, no matter where you looked. It’s a small, gorgeous addition to a stunning 150‑year‑old building ensemble on the edge of a park. The crazy part: the commuter train to downtown Cologne stops right outside the window—you could literally jump onto the platform, yet you hardly hear it. It feels like a perfect staging that must be. Just a 50‑step walk away is the excellent Kaiserbahnhof for dining. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when I’m back in Cologne. Nothing could possibly be disliked.

I had a lovely stay, everything was spotless, the bed was great, the staff were friendly, and the location was fantastic—very quiet at night. I’d come back again. There’s nothing to criticize.
