The place’s history, the beautiful park, the good breakfast, the decent toilet facilities, and the friendly staff were all positives, though the rooms’ location felt unsafe at first but we got used to it.

A beautiful old castle full of history, a very welcoming reception, and we were allowed to use the kitchen because of our late arrival; a carafe of white port with glasses and a note encouraging us to enjoy it, a nicely decorated room with a table to eat at, all very cozy, plus a map detailing the castle’s history that was genuinely enjoyable to read. Nothing else to criticize; the castle, the host, and the room met all our expectations.

The castle, the park, the welcome, the breakfast – everything was perfect. Nothing to complain about.
