The beach was close and the food on the square was great. The apartment’s equipment was lacking, and there was almost no decent cookware.

The location was perfect for families, and the accommodation was right behind a playground. The Wi‑Fi router was huge and mounted in the children’s sleeping area, so the light at night was very distracting and the glare was something we didn’t want to discuss further.

A great campsite, exactly what we expected, and we’d love to return if we’re back to Rügen. A little bottle of wine on the table as a welcome was very nice, though there was no corkscrew available; we bought one and left it in the room. The kitchen tap seemed loose, but it wasn’t a big deal.
