“最高!”
The food looked beautiful, each dish showed care and tasted great! As a hot spring inn, it felt like it kept the old charm while adding new touches. The water was good too! No complaints.

Food: The food here is amazing. The breakfast/dinner are Japanese + Western fusion kaiseki, there's free water/tea/coffee 24h in the lounge as well. Onsen: You can book private onsen upon arrival for additional 2200 yen for 1h, you get the option of indoor or outdoors. It's very nice. The public baths are also very comfortable. Washroom: I probably booked the wrong type of room, but my bathroom is outside of my room. It is private, but the toilet room had no heat so it's pretty cold in the winter. The powder room(?) had 2 sinks and heater, but again, it was outside of my room. So if I wanted to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I would be wide awake after. Location: It is a little hard to find, it's on top of a hill. There is also very little stores open in this area, so there isn't much to do if you are here early and don't feel like going to a park/going on a hike

The food was delicious, and many of the staff were pleasant. The building was very cold, especially the changing room, which drained body heat right after the bath—probably because it was a particularly cold period.
