The place was spotless, but the breakfast fell short of expectations; the salmon and raw beef were fine, yet the “bibimbap corner” lacked any greens and the flavor was just okay, and the coffee left me dissatisfied.
The hotel fit its business‑hotel label perfectly—clean and very suitable for working from the room, and overall I liked it, though the price seems right only in the low‑hundreds of thousands range given its location and facilities. Unfortunately, water from the shower sprayed toward the toilet, the table in the room hadn’t been wiped and still bore food residue and stickiness from the previous guest, so I had to clean it myself, and the walls were so thin that I could clearly hear the snoring from the neighboring room.
Breakfast was clean, varied, and excellent. Table cleaning was slightly lacking, but everything else was very tidy.
The à la carte options were better than the buffet. When I opened the corner curtain, old dust fell out.
“4성급 호텔 맞나요? 에어컨 고장으로 지옥 같은 밤을 보냈습니다.”
During a 2‑night, 3‑day trip the air‑conditioner broke on the first night, pushing the room temperature up to about 30 °C and giving me a night of pure misery instead of sleep; I complained at the front desk the next morning, a staff member came to confirm the fault, but I didn’t get a new room until the second day. The front‑desk employee apologized, yet the higher‑up manager never even appeared, and by checkout morning I still felt no follow‑up or genuine apology, which left me not just disappointed but furious. The lack of any compensation or sincere handling made the whole 4‑star claim feel like a joke, and the replacement room was filthy—lifting the duvet revealed several stray hairs. I doubt I’ll ever return.
