“ORIENTADO A FAMILIAS CON NIÑOS”
The kids’ facilities are the reason I’ll come back. The spa still isn’t working, and the food, while not bad, feels very expensive for what it is; I get better value at nearby restaurants for a third of the price.
“Mantenimiento”
The TV in my room was broken and some facilities, like the game room, need maintenance.
“Los costos del hotel no van acorde al lugar, igual de caro que en Cancún”
The rooms lack air conditioning, a mini‑fridge, and the kids’ games are outdated.
“Bien normal. Rancho san diego es mejor opción (pero mas cara)”
The rooms were decent but had no air conditioning. The restaurant was bad and expensive, and the Sunday buffet was terrible—tables in the sun, food stations far away, overall a disaster.
“Un hotel que perdió un poco su glamour de antaño, pero con excelente atención.”
The staff were wonderful, always attentive and made us feel welcome the whole time, and even though there’s no air‑conditioning the rooms are well ventilated with mosquito nets so the windows can stay open without issue, plus the shower pressure was great. The hacienda looks beautifully styled, especially the entrance, yet some areas need a touch‑up – the balcony railings need paint and the kids’ pool looks a bit neglected, and it took us a couple of days to locate everything because the property is split into two sections with identical back‑room corridors that are easy to get lost in.
