Located on Hvar Island, Cast Away - Eco Resort offers Robinson Crusoe-style wooden tent accommodations near the village of Gromin Dolac, overlooking two beaches. The resort features 3 lounge areas with sea views, 5 hammocks, and double sunbeds. Guests enjoy a common kitchen, shared bathrooms, and limited electricity from solar panels and a generator. Activities include windsurfing, paddle boarding, and snorkelling.

The staff were great and picking up was easy, making the stay generally very relaxing. I would definitely recommend it. The only downside was the lack of privacy in the bathrooms—unisex toilets and showers had no locks and there were gaps between the door and the toilet. It didn’t feel unsafe, just not ideal.

The hut was a lovely, secluded spot in a little paradise by the beach. Sleeping there with a sea view was an experience. Everyone was super friendly, creating a pleasant atmosphere throughout the resort. We’ll definitely come back!

A little slice of paradise! An amazing place to live, where you can let yourself go and time seems to stand still. Relaxing, yoga, beach, paddle, music, a lounge vibe at night with lights, and a nice little bar. I highly recommend it! Nothing major, just a few mosquitoes, but a repellent spray solved that.

I stayed right on a quiet, little beach overlooking the sea – the perfect spot to unwind with a relaxed vibe and a sustainable concept. The downside is that the calm location means you have to walk a long way to get to restaurants, shops, and other amenities.

The setting was idyllic, with canoe, kayak, and paddle rentals, top‑class staff, a functional gourmet kitchen, a barbecue and pizza oven, a fridge with a custom shelf, a personalized lockbox, and a personal kitchen locker. The beach cove was stunning, and the parking was a bit uphill at 100 m. The terrace bar had great chairs and a superb view. The only complaints were the small cushions instead of pillows – a shame – and the cove’s access isn’t for everyone (the price pays for the beauty). There’s no electricity in the tent, but a flashlight is provided, and the kitchen offers rechargeable phone charging.
