The location and spa were great, and the breakfast was excellent, but the separate lounge clearly needs a makeover.

The staff were really helpful and friendly, and the Insight restaurant was lovely, yet the room felt a little dated and tired looking, the shower grouting needed attention, the TV wasn’t connected to Netflix, and during torrential rain we were stuck in a room that was extremely hot on the upper floor even though it was just the beginning of September and the heating was on full.

The location was great, the team that works there is fabulous, the spa is lovely, the bed is comfy, and the food and drink are also great.

The staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming, the hotel is comfortable and very clean, Loch Fyne is beautiful, our dog was very welcome, the food was exceptional and the bar area spacious looking out onto the Loch, and the Spa was lovely with a nice pool, with nothing negative.

Single beds were requested and were very comfortable, but because of mobility I’ll probably book a double bed next time; nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were all friendly and welcoming, with no negative points that stand out.
