Nothing stood out. We arrived at 23:00 and everything was closed. Somehow our driver found a half‑occupied staff member, and we discovered that our rooms had already been given to other guests. How could that happen? We were forced into a shabby room in a different building that they rented to us for 1000 rupees, while we had wanted a decent place to rest before our flight to Lukla.

The location was just what I needed. The room was dirty, smelled bad, and a dog was roaming around. I didn’t sleep there and moved to another hotel.
