The room was cozy, minimalist and spotless, with beautiful forest‑themed curtains made in Latvia. Check‑in was done through a sent code without staff involvement. I could turn on the electric radiator if the room felt cold. If I stayed longer, I’d need a hair dryer and some shelves or a cabinet to store things.

The location is very nice, and we were able to watch a beautiful sunset over the countryside and enjoy a very peaceful evening surrounded by nature. All was good, but because we booked late we couldn’t order breakfast. Nothing terrible, as the city is nearby and the staff gave us a list of alternatives.

Beautiful resort by the castle, quiet, with an idyllic garden. The museum in the castle is a very short walk away. Neither breakfast nor dinner were available. It’s a bit remote for cyclists.
