First, the upstairs room faces a storage area downstairs, so there’s no outside view. The bathroom and toilet are decent but on the ground floor, which is inconvenient at night. Between them is a steep staircase that we strongly advise against for those with limited mobility.

We appreciated the welcome and availability of the hostess. We also appreciated the quiet of the rooms: quiet street without big traffic. The cleanliness of the rooms. In the negative points; bedding could be improved, mattresses no longer seem to provide comfort and 140cms wide beds are less common or increasingly rare in cottages and B&Bs. The tiny bathroom with a hand basin instead of a sink forces acrobatic toothbrushing.
