The chef is friendly and knows his region well enough to suggest visits. The foam mattress was bad quality with a dent in its centre, only one shower towel instead of two for two adults, the shower walls and shower had limescale and mould, plastic hangers in a drawer but nothing to hang them, the floor carpet didn’t match the walls and the patchwork of colours made me doubt the cleanliness, one bedside table and one bedside lamp for a 140 cm bed for two people, everything was made at the lowest cost and the quality was not up to standard. Key retrieval was in a coded box even though it seemed like a hotel with staff on site. The restaurant of the same name didn’t serve dinner, which would have been an advantage. Very disappointed. I do not recommend this establishment.

La cocotte Normande is a very comfortable, quiet hotel despite the road in front. It matched exactly what we wanted. Access is very convenient with the key box. The breakfast is very good and plentiful. One point to improve is the amount of shower gel/shampoo; there really wasn’t much. Nevertheless we will return with pleasure. J M and A Gibault.

The place was quiet, but there was no light in front of the hotel.

The room was simple yet efficient, and the breakfast was tasty and filling, but the walls were thin and you could hear neighbors and traffic.
