“Vieillot mais fonctionnel”
Close to the city centre, large bike garage, and the bed is comfortable. There was no soap (travelers, remember to bring one), the water was moderately hot, and access to a kettle would be a plus.

The on‑site restaurant serves French cuisine with vegetarian, gluten‑free and dairy‑free dishes, offering brunch, lunch, dinner, high tea and cocktails in a traditional setting. We liked staying at Domfront. The hotel is split into sections, and we booked a room in the gîte area. The room was very clean, simple yet comfortable, and quiet on the garden side. The reception was perfect and we enjoyed a good meal at the on‑site restaurant. No TV – that was fine! The hill must be climbed to reach Domfront’s center, but we’re just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Romanesque church of Notre-Dame‑sur‑l’Eau. We drove in, but the place is a natural stop for cyclists or walkers.

Simple and clean. The welcome and breakfast were friendly. Nothing else – everything went well. Maybe because the room was at the back, it was very quiet. During the day it’s busy, but at night it should be calm.
