The place is pretty quiet because it’s a bit out of the way, and the common area is quite good. However, the rooms were drenched in moisture—so much that breathing was nearly impossible. It rained heavily and we got leaks in the room; we asked for a room change, which happened, but when the hotel was almost empty later, we were moved again and the humidity was even worse, plus the beds were extremely uncomfortable. We were ready to leave; overall, the experience was bad.

The staff were very friendly. The pool offered great views of the volcano. The bed was huge and comfortable, and the room was very well kept. We would definitely come back.
