The room was clean and comfortable
The views from my room were simply stunning
The location on the headland next to Tintagel Castle was also perfect

“Imposing hotel with amazing cliff top view”
The location was exceptional, with amazing views over the cliffs, and the room was comfortable and very quiet; the furniture felt a bit tired, which added to the character. Both dinner and breakfast were good, but the shower was a comedy—there was a small cubicle that a large gentleman couldn't fit into, and the curtain only had four hooks, so pulling it one way soaked the toilet and the other way flooded the floor.
The views were outstanding, and even though the bathroom felt a bit small, the balcony and scenery more than compensated for it.
The bathroom looked like a portaloo, which was disappointing for a premium priced room at £270, so we wouldn't stay again.
The grounds and views were fantastic, but being on the third floor made the stairs a bit of a challenge; the lift was very efficient and helped a lot.
The location was great and the building was nice, but the rooms were tiny and the beds even tinier.
