A very nice holiday apartment right in the historic city centre. Check‑in was straightforward. The apartment was on the first floor with a bedroom overlooking the courtyard, which was really pleasant. The kitchen was fully equipped. Towels were provided. Overall, it was a nice stay. The entry hallway had a slightly irritating chemical or cigarette smoke smell at first.

There’s enough space for four people, and the front desk staff were friendly. The décor was very sparse and dated, and the dining table was already too small for four. There were no curtains or blinds on the windows, so the entire bedroom was bright from 5:30 am in summer. Wind made rattling noises from the roof window, and there was no door to the attic.

The apartment was located in the city centre, which was convenient, and it was spacious and modern. Communication with the host, who turned out to be a real‑estate office, didn’t go as expected. I called 45 minutes before arrival to report my arrival and was told I’d have to go to another apartment because the one I booked had water damage. I ended up at the new address with a closed door; I saw several doorbells and had to call again to learn I needed to ring a staff member. That evening there was noise until 11 pm, including the staff member. I had to contact them again because they hadn’t shown me the parking space behind the building and I was parked in a paid zone.

A lovely apartment spread over two floors with up to six beds, fully equipped with cooking utensils and plenty of everyday items. The layout feels very thoughtful, even featuring a bar counter in the living room, clean and modern décor, satellite TV, and strong Wi‑Fi. Walking distance to EKZ, a bakery, the “Burg” EKZ, the beautiful old town with shops, a cinema, churches, and the central bus station. Check‑in and check‑out were flawless, and the final cleaning is already included in the total price—great! On the downside, there are no blinds or blackout curtains, which made privacy and heat from summer quite uncomfortable. The attic windows could only be opened partially. Some mattresses are very soft, which isn’t for everyone. Loud music and entertainment from the adjacent gardens disturbed the evening, and the content of the music was sometimes borderline inappropriate. The noise was usually stopped by 10 pm, so the host couldn’t do much about it.
