“Amazing cooking and hospitality at relaxing homestay”

What a stunning and relaxing place! Lakshitha and his family made us feel so welcome, and we adored the beautiful patio/garden right outside our room. The food was amazing—we ate breakfast and dinner every day, and everything was delicious and varied, even catering to my gluten allergy. The Nature’s Night Elephant Safari was a highlight of our trip, and we also swam at a neighboring hotel for a small fee, which was great. The spot is quiet yet close to local cafés, restaurants, shops, and a tuk‑tuk to Sigiriya Lion Rock. There’s a friendly dog that loves head scratches! All in all, we absolutely loved our stay.

The homestay was lovely overall, with a helpful family and a breakfast that was a real highlight—very tasty and filling! Parking for our tuk‑tuk was available. It was a bit hard to locate at first, but the host met us and showed us the way, so no problem.

The host was a very friendly person, always asking if we needed anything and helped us book a tuk‑tuk for sunrise at Pidurangala. Every day we received delicious, freshly prepared breakfast. The room was clean and pleasant, with everything we needed. In the evenings you can sit on the loungers by the garden and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. I highly recommend it and greetings from Poland. I have no complaints.

I loved the place; it was super clean, and there were no insect problems even though it’s in a very rural area. The setting was very quiet. The house was beautiful, with a wonderful garden, and the family was delightful, very kind, attentive, and they made both breakfast and dinner very good. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it. Nothing to add.
