Breakfast had to be ordered the night before and was okay but basic; the shower was too powerful and sprayed water everywhere in the bathroom. Having to order breakfast the night before was a drawback.

From the moment we stepped in, this hotel felt like a hidden treasure; the staff greeted us warmly, there was ample parking, our room was cozy, and the breakfast was outstanding. We also reserved dinner at the on‑site restaurant, which was equally superb, and we found nothing to criticize during our visit.

The food was exceptional; my partner said it was the best curry he has had, and I enjoyed the beautifully cooked duck. Breakfast was also excellent. The room lacked a window to look out from, only a Dorma window in the dressing room, and there were no sockets beside the bed for charging a phone.

The location was convenient, the communication was clear, and the staff were friendly. However, the toilet wouldn’t flush properly—after we filled the waste bin with water to force a flush, it only managed two brief attempts before the button jammed. We reported this to reception, but no action was taken, which was stressful, and the bath plug was also broken.
