“Breakfast option must be more and everyday room cleaning must be implemented.”
The place was spotlessly clean, but the breakfast was a real let‑down, only bread, butter and an omelet every day.

I liked the location—good neighbourhood, close to the railway station—and the bathrooms and linen were clean, plus the balcony offered a nice view, but the staff’s attitude left something to be desired.

I have to start with how great the location of this homestay is in Guwahati; it’s well connected to main roads and within walking distance to the State Museum, Brahmaputra River Side Park, Ugra Tara temple, and other spots, all in a posh, quiet area filled with premium cafés and restaurants. The property is spacious yet private, with its own small parking, and the rooms we stayed in were roomy, featuring large attached bathrooms that were clean and had working geysers. Every room probably has an electric kettle, so you can brew tea whenever you like. The living‑dining area is large and well‑furnished, and the Wi‑Fi is smooth. We only had breakfast, which was basic but tasty, though you need to let them know in advance. The staff were cooperative but could be a bit more proactive.

The price and location were great.

It didn’t match the pictures at all. The room we got had no balcony or view—just a close‑up of another balcony. The whole place was a mess, as if nobody had cleaned it in days. A helper was there when we arrived but was clueless. We couldn’t stay there; it was just pathetic.
