The location and the comfort of the community balcony and sitting area are nice, but I didn’t like that there were no live people; on the first night we were locked out of the hotel during a major storm after dinner, I only realized on the last day that towels were on Floor 4, and the coffee pot was a pour‑over.

I liked how quiet the place was, and the staff happily helped me retrieve the bottle of wine I’d left in the fridge right after checkout. It’s well located, within walking distance of minigolf, an ice‑cream parlor, and a full‑service restaurant, and a very short drive to a farmers market with hot food and coffee. I would have appreciated some onsite food or drink option for purchase that wasn’t the full‑service restaurant next door, like a minibar or vending machine. While the concierge closet was available and generally stocked, I wasn’t super thrilled that there was no housekeeping at all during my stay unless requested specifically (and it seemed to come with an additional charge too).
