The place was nice and welcoming. We didn’t check in with the owners, but met them later and they were friendly and helpful. The room lacked screens, so we couldn’t leave the window open during the day or night, making it hot; plus the water pressure was very low, making showers uncomfortable.
The room was small but brand new. No one was there to greet us, the stairs were too narrow, the room was nice but only suitable for winter, there was no air conditioning so it was hot because it faced the sun and the town square, the first night was hot and noisy like being on the Monza circuit, the next evening there was no one—probably everyone was at the village festival—and I ended up sleeping in my car on the highway at night.
“Relax nella quiete della montagna”
The property is brand‑new, spotless, warm, and fully equipped. It sits in a small, peaceful village, about 15/20 minutes by car from the hustle of Roccaraso and Castel di Sangro. The ski lifts are roughly 30 minutes away. Breakfast is excellent, served at the front bar run by a very kind lady. We didn’t meet the host in person, but he’s always reachable via WhatsApp. Nothing to add.
“Soggiorno piacevole”
The staff were good, but the room was very small.
The owners were very courteous and helpful right from the first phone call, even helping me find a ski instructor and suggesting nice evenings in the area. I can’t point out any negatives; the place was welcoming and quiet.
