“Molto buono”
The hospitality and the beauty of Salento are definitely welcome; nothing else to add.
Quietness is appreciated. The cleaning was poor, mosquitoes crushed on the walls, and cobwebs from the bed to the bathroom ceiling.
The owners are welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful with homemade cakes and a wide selection of packaged items. The room is cleaned daily. The pool is nice with loungers and umbrellas. The room is somewhat small but livable thanks to the shaded outdoor patio and the spacious bathroom.
“Esperienza da non ripetere”
The location of the property is good and towels are changed daily. However, there was no availability for check‑in; they told me they don’t allow check‑in before 15. The room was tiny, probably a prefabricated unit, with a dead‑ended bathroom and obvious mold on the shower mat and shower walls. Breakfast was awful: only two fresh cakes the first morning, one the second, everything else was packaged industrially, no fresh fruit, no savory items. When I asked for a croissant, I was told to buy it at the bar. The lady at the table next to mine served hot drinks, so I had to get up to get my two coffees. The rudeness was at its peak. Breakfast hours from 8 to 9 don’t suit guests on holiday. The pool is quite large but has dark cracks on the bottom; maintenance is needed before the summer season. I don’t recommend it.
Air conditioning, parking, breakfast (though the summer hours from 8 to 9 are not very convenient for a vacationer). The room feels claustrophobic, cleanliness needs review, a room with a door directly onto the street, an interior door with a transparent window and key, a curtain that can’t be fully closed. The pool is a bit dirty. Overall, it’s a bit bare. The welcome includes the phrase “you must be out by 10,” which is not very nice.
