“Recomendado pero faltó comunicación”

The farm’s surroundings are wonderful. Kevin was very kind and helpful. We loved the breakfast, especially the filtered coffee from the farm’s own beans. One of the rooms we rented was unavailable due to maintenance, so we were given another with a dirty bathroom. The hammock area was also closed for the same reason. It would have been nice if we had been informed that they were doing improvement work on the farm.

“Amazing!🤩”

I highly recommend this farm for anyone wanting a genuine coffee culture experience. Getting there is easy with public transport: from Armenia Airport you can take a bus to the Armenia Transportation Terminal, then a bus heading toward Génova, and just ask to be dropped off halfway at Finca La Macarena, which is very close to the main road. Its location is also perfect for visiting nearby towns. The activities were fantastic; we did both the Plantain Tour and the Coffee Tour, learning exactly how these crops are grown. We also visited a natural waterfall and swam, which was a highlight. The food was delicious and very traditional, with true local flavors! A special shout‑out to Kevin, our guide and main contact; he was incredibly attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. If you want a great coffee experience that is easy to reach and full of nature, this is the place to be!

“¡Un lugar para una estancia relajada y placentera!”

The staff were very friendly, rooms were comfortable and clean. The farm offers a beautiful view. It’s easy to reach by public transport and close to several tourist sites in both Quindío and the northern Valle del Cauca. There was nothing particular to comment on. The stay was very pleasant.

The view from the location is great, but the bed was a bit of a letdown - the springs made it sink in. The kitchen was also missing some decent pots.
