“Amazing stay”
I loved this place; it was cozy, comfy, and spotless, with plenty of sleeping areas. It was quiet, the staff were friendly, and the owners responded quickly. The bed was a bit too firm for my taste.

The courtyard and room interior were decent, and the other guests were quiet. Around midnight, a fellow guest and I were locked out of the property for almost an hour; the electronic lock could be opened, but the physical latch at the top of the door was engaged. We tried contacting the property in various ways but got no reply, and a passing guest eventually helped us get in. Later that night, I was woken at about 2 am and again at 4 am by two screaming cats whose sounds seemed to come from right outside my window; each episode lasted roughly 15 minutes and left me very frightened. The next morning I saw two cats walking in the hotel courtyard. I reported both the lockout and the cat noises to a male staff member, who told me the cats were not the property’s responsibility. I wondered whether guests should be informed before check‑in that cats were present and might cause disturbances, as being suddenly woken by these frightening noises was not a pleasant experience. Regarding the lockout, I suggested the staff could find a way to secure the physical latch to prevent it from being locked. The staff told me the lockout had never happened before and that I could simply leave and receive a refund. However, I had intended to stay for the entire booking, so being told to leave made me VERY UPSET. I felt VERY UNWELCOME as an international guest. I later spoke with the owner about these incidents; she apologized and said it was “100 % a problem on their side.” Only while speaking with the owner did the male staff member begin unscrewing the physical latch, suggesting that a practical solution could be considered instead of just asking a guest to leave. I asked for an apology specifically from the male staff member, but I have NEVER received one from him regarding his approach, which made me extremely sad after such a difficult experience involving the lockout, interrupted sleep, and prolonged communication with the property.
