The room was damp and dirty; it looked fine in the photos but was a different story on arrival, so I didn't even stay the night.

Didn't have breakfast. Host is a lovely man. Very close to the Tower and shopping centre. About 15 min walk from station. Beds uncomfortable rattle everything you move and can hear the beds above rattling. Pillow badly stained when I took the case off. Bedding bit stained. Hot water not available during the day and wasn't even on by 7.00 pm on Sat. Shower head and attachments very dirty, dirt round the taps, black hairs in the sink

The welcome was friendly and there was a warm blanket, but the window in the room wouldn't close properly, making it cold, draughty, and noisy; the blanket on the bed was a welcome touch.
