The location was very quiet, and even though it was hot we slept well at night with the window open. We also received a free public transport card for the bus included in the accommodation price, which we used several times. Everything else was great. Outside the village, on the bikeroutes, there were hardly any other people, which was nice. We were well served on the various Almbeizli. It would have been better if the pension had explained the waste sorting system before we left, so we could have been a bit more eco‑friendly.

Pension Birgit is a great base for exploring the highest peaks of the Black Forest. You can just put on your hiking boots. We had a spacious, quiet, and comfortable room with a balcony and a nice view. The friendly and experienced host made time for a chat without being intrusive. Breakfast was tasty with a freshly cooked egg to your preference. Thanks!
