I found this mountain hut a perfect escape from the crowds. It's super quiet and never feels crowded. Even after 38 years, the place still looks as beautiful as when I first came. A true gem for gentle tourism.

The staff were super friendly and sorted my laundry in no time, so I could hit the trail fresh the next day. The only downside was the confusing directions – you have to drive down to the parking lot and then follow signs through a bit of forest, so better do it in daylight.

I showed up to an empty lobby, but a friendly, slightly tipsy guy opened the door, cooked dinner, and gave me a dirty room. Luckily the sober staff later moved me to a clean one. The view was unbeatable and the hotel itself was in decent shape, but the gravel road to get there is a bit of a hassle.
