The breakfast was terrible, cheap and consisted of leftovers from previous days. The room we got wasn’t the one we booked, the toilet seat was crooked, there was no shower rod, only one nightstand, the bed was uncomfortable, and the room smelled of cigarette smoke. Dinner was awful right after we arrived and the price was outrageous for what we ate. After a certain hour we couldn’t even buy a bottle of water. Music played all day through the window of our room even after we complained to the owner. They asked us to pay immediately upon arrival without showing us the room first. The only good thing was the cleanliness. I regret that the nightly rate is too high for what is offered.
“Tranquillità assoluta”
The place is quiet, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the homemade products are spectacular—food is excellent. The room was cozy and fairly spacious with all essentials, but the beds were very uncomfortable and there was a bit of dust.
We were passing through on our trip and it turned out to be a great stop! We’ll gladly come back.
The property, room, and staff met expectations. The breakfast was very disappointing, too poor; I expected fresh products, local pastries, and fruit, but there was none of that. It’s a shame, given that it’s an agriturismo in an area where fresh local produce is available. The dinner also let me down; the same issue as breakfast, and I expected more effort, especially since the menu was fixed and there wasn’t much choice.
The pool is amazing, with plenty of space, plus tennis and padel courts. The facility is close to the center of Polla but the area is very quiet. A few kilometers away are the Pertosa caves. The room is a bit dated and there are few outlets to charge a phone.
