The views were stunning and the setting was truly peaceful, away from the city’s chaos. The room was roomy and the bed very comfortable. The staff were friendly and made the stay more enjoyable, especially the scenic jeep ride for payment that stopped at a local market for coconut water. However, the first impression of our room was not great because there was rubbish on the doormat, which I had to pick up to tidy it up. Language barriers may have played a role, but it would have helped to be shown the facilities upon arrival, as we didn’t know there was a dining room on another level. An outdoor dining area on the upper level would have been nice.
